Part 1: Why I Am Writing This — Awareness, Discernment, and the Bigger Picture

Introduction

Over the years, I have watched changes happen around us that caused me to stop, research, and ask questions. This series is not meant to create fear, but to encourage awareness, prayer, and preparation. Sometimes the answer is not simply A or B — sometimes it is E: all of the above.

Why I Am Sharing This Now

I feel like it is time to finally publish the information I have been collecting and studying over the years.

Before I begin, I want to make something very clear.

The following is not a new word of knowledge or a message of prophecy. These are notes, observations, and conclusions I have formed from years of studying documented events, listening to eyewitness accounts, researching different sources, and praying for discernment.

When I received the message, Abuse, it prompted me to share some of my insight.  Holy Spirit said, it's time!  So while it's inspired by the Holy Spirit to share this, it is not written by the Holy Spirit.  But I also will not deny that Holy Spirit did not help through this. The ideas, the recollections and providing some of you who are not aware of these situations, some guidance.

My purpose is not to scare people.

My purpose is not to create frustration.

My purpose is to encourage people to pay attention, pray, seek truth, and prepare and stand against evil.  This is not your time to buckle.  If you follow Jesus, wholeheartedly all in, the enemy fears you the most. Well there are days where you may feel like folding, don't!!! Don't give the enemy what they are seeking.  You are a spiritual body living a physical existence and when this is over you will go back to your spiritual body. This is not the end.

If you know your enemy, learn the moves and the setups, you know what you need to pray against.

Words matter-  Don't curse yourself by saying something negative over you or someone else. Think about the comments that you murmur under your breath over frustrating circumstances.  And especially be careful what you say over your kids. More likely than not that will come to fruition at some point, especially if say this kid is this or that.  You are cursing your own child.  That's for someone to read that's Holy Spirit driven right there.  Same with your marriage.  Are you cursing yourself without knowing? I've heard people say f- my life out in public places!  How do you think that's going to go?  Did you unintentionally curse someone else?

Remember- HCSB Ephesians.  6:12

For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

The Net

One of the hardest things about researching these topics is realizing how interconnected everything can become.

At first, everything looks separate.

A fire is just a fire.

A storm is just a storm.

A change in the environment is just a change.

A cultural shift is just a cultural shift.

But as you continue to research, you begin to see how different pieces may connect together, like a net that has been woven over time.

Some things may be obvious.

Some things may require deeper investigation.

Some things may still have unanswered questions.

But ignoring the connections does not make them disappear.

This is why I believe we have to learn how to look beyond the first answer we are given.

The ABCDE Approach

One thing I have learned over the years is that people often get stuck choosing between answer A or answer B. Left/Right-

We are taught to look for one simple explanation.

Either this happened.

Or that happened. We choose left policies or Right Policies, knowing that is our ONLY choice.

But what if the answer is not A or B?

What if it is E — all of the above?

I have had to learn this myself.

I used to look at things more simply. I would ask, “How could that happen?” or “That does not make sense.”

But the more I researched, the more I realized that sometimes multiple things can be happening at the same time.

A situation can have more than one contributing factor.

That is why discernment matters.

We should not blindly accept everything we hear or see.

But, we also should not automatically dismiss something because it challenges what we already believe.

We need to research.

We need to pray.

We need to seek wisdom and discernment.

Why I Pay Attention

I have lived in the same California community for decades.

I know what our seasons used to look like.

I know what our land produced.

I know what was normal here.

And I know what has changed.

I have watched things happen that made me stop and ask questions.

Sunsets are off a few degrees, further south in the winter, further north in the summer.  That affects everything!

The position of the moon shifts several degrees in 24 hours, then goes back to a normal pattern the next night, different.

Gardens struggle in ways they never did before.

Trees develop problems that were uncommon.

New insects and weeds appear.

Bird populations seem lower.

Bees and butterflies are not as plentiful as they once were.

Two years ago, our garden struggled with pollination. Tomatoes and squash, which normally produced heavily, did not perform the way they had in the past.

Our fruit trees have dealt with blight.

This year, our cherries were ruined by weather when it should have been one of our best harvests.

We have adjusted.

We have moved plants.

We have added shade. Protection from sudden drops in temperature, (delays crops).

We have protected crops from different elements.

We have invested time and money trying to adapt.

But our production has dropped dramatically.

Eventually, we had to step back and regroup.

Not because we stopped caring.

Because something has changed.

Outdoor growing has become more difficult and unpredictable.

I believe we need to pay attention.

This Is Not About Fear

I realize some people may read this and immediately disagree.

That is okay.

I am not asking anyone to blindly accept everything I write.

Actually, I encourage people to do the opposite.

Research.

Pray.

Ask questions.

Seek wisdom.

Test information.

The Bible tells us to use discernment.

We are not called to be fearful.

We are called to be aware.

There is a difference.

Fear causes people to freeze.

Awareness causes people to prepare.

Why This Matters Spiritually

The reason I believe this conversation matters is because we are not only dealing with physical events.

We are also dealing with spiritual issues.

The Bible repeatedly tells us to watch, pray, and understand the times we are living in.

Hosea 4:6 says:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

I believe that message is still important today.  The scripture covers every aspect of our lives.

God gave us His Word.

He gave us wisdom.

He gave us the ability to seek Him.

But we also have a responsibility to learn.

A person would never build a 50-story building without understanding architecture.

A person would never perform surgery without training.

A person would never enter a battle without preparation.

Yet many people try to walk through life spiritually unprepared.

A quick prayer before running out the door is not the same as developing a relationship with God.

We need to know what we believe.

We need to understand Scripture.

We need to understand prayer.

We need to understand the authority we have through Jesus Christ.

Final Thoughts

My purpose in sharing this is not to tell people what to think.

My purpose is to encourage people to look deeper, seek God, use discernment, and stop ignoring things simply because they are uncomfortable.

We have to be willing to ask questions.

We have to be willing to research.

We have to be willing to pray.

Because awareness without action does not change anything.

God did not call us to live in fear.

He called us to be wise, prepared, and spiritually equipped.
