Abuse – Commentary
Part 4: The Fires — Communities Changed Forever
This commentary is a companion to my message, Abuse. These are not additional words of knowledge to that message. They are my personal observations and opinions formed over many years of study, documented events, life experiences, and prayerful consideration.
My purpose is not to tell you what to think. My goal is to encourage you to pray, study God's Word, seek discernment, and investigate for yourself. Test everything against Scripture. Hold fast to what is true.
Words matter.
If you know your enemy, you know what to do.
As I continued observing the changes around me, one thing became impossible to ignore: the fires.
For many people who grew up decades ago, the words used to describe fires were different.
People talked about forest fires, brush fires, and grass fires. The image was of fires moving through forests, hillsides, and open land.
But in recent years, we have watched something that has changed the conversation.
Fires have entered communities.
They have destroyed neighborhoods.
They have erased places where people lived, worked, raised families, worshiped, and built memories.
Paradise.
Greenville.
Grizzly Flats.
Lahaina.
Parts of Santa Rosa and the North Bay.
These are not just names on a map.
They represent people.
Families.
Homes.
Businesses.
Communities.
The scale of destruction is difficult to comprehend. California’s list of the most destructive fires shows the magnitude of what has occurred in recent years. I encourage everyone to review the complete list and examine the information for themselves:
Look at the dates.
Look at the communities affected.
Look at the number of structures destroyed and lives impacted.
Then ask questions.
How is this happening when, just 20 years ago, fires destroying communities on this scale were something most people had never experienced?
What has changed?
This is where the ABCDE principle becomes important.
Do not become so focused on proving Answer A or Answer B that you never consider the possibility of Answer E — all of the above.
When examining these events, we must be willing to consider all contributing factors.
Weather.
Wind.
Terrain.
Fuel conditions.
Human actions.
Infrastructure.
Emergency response.
Land management.
Weapons used against the populations. Please do not roll your eyes there are many documented official reports on vaccines, specifically covid, military weapons such as d e w, HAARP, Doppler. These things can cause fires as we will discuss, earthquakes such as Japan, and storms to park over a particular area for an extended amount of time such as Texas or North Carolina. Two of the most conservative States in our Union.
There are other questions that deserve examination.
Then there is the taboo one among Christian churches and others. Could it be God’s judgment? Something you'll never see discussed on the 6:00 news
God warns righteous people or spares them before His judgment falls on a specific location.
· Lot and his family: Angels lead Lot, his wife, and his daughters out of Sodom before God destroys it with fire and sulfur (Genesis 19:15-16).
· Noah and his family: God commands Noah to build an ark. He moves Noah and the animals inside to escape the global flood (Genesis 7:1-7).
Drawn to Places of Judgment
God brings people to specific sites to witness, experience, or carry out His judgments.
· Pharaoh and the Egyptians: God hardens Pharaoh’s heart and draws the Egyptian army into the Red Sea bed, where judgment overtakes them (Exodus 14:17-28).
· The Valley of Jehoshaphat: Joel prophesies that God will gather all nations to the Valley of Decision or Jehoshaphat to execute judgment upon them (Joel 3:2, 12).
This is why living a righteous life before god, doing the best that you can do can and WILL offer the same protections. listening, discernment and taking action. Don't stay because you love the view or because you love the weather yet you've had this uneasy feeling to leave the area for years. We have tried to leave California for years because of the California politics etc. But, there is always been a block. and if that's the case for you I will promise you if you leave when God has not released you to leave it will be a disaster.
If you're at a crossroads decision - fleece God. Here's a scriptural example. Judges 6:36–40 The narrative shows God meeting Gideon in his fear and weakness with immense patience and grace.
But I would suggest in this climate you do a private one between you and God do not verbalize it do not write it down make a deal with God and I would test it if it's a move no less than three times. Moving is a very life-changing decision. This fleeting would be accompanied by prayer, fasting and even inviting a trusted friend to pray with you outside your family if this is a family move.
The reason I am hammering on these fires is because our spiritual climate has changed, since about 2017. We had a period of calling, returning back to God, and then the covid lockdowns which God communicated to me that this was a time for his people and new people to come to him. It was giving people that were super busy a time to decompress and focus on him. The world stopped if you remember, which means you stop or at least most of us. My family worked through this, so they didn't have the luxury, but there are many families who did have this luxury and I hope you were wise with your choices.
Back to the fires-
Why, because they play a huge role in our future. You have the ability to change the course of this. If you wait for the other guy to step in, nothing will ever change.
The purpose is not to rush to one conclusion.
The purpose is to look at the information, examine the evidence, listen to firsthand accounts, and seek truth.
Because behind every number is a person.
Behind every structure is someone's home.
Behind every community is someone's life.
